From London to Carsaig for a week of painting and exploration. It’s crazy to think how we’re busy jetting all over the place to ‘get away’ when a days driving from London can land you in a place to remote, so dramatically different and so stunning.
Late afternoon on Ebury Bridge: Thoughts on more thought and less haste!
Built in Renaissance and Baroque styles on what was previously the site of a mosque, this Cathedral looms proud over the city of Malaga. However its affectionate name of ‘La Manquita’ or the one armed lady tells another story. Originally planned with two towers, money ran out and the elegant Cathedral raises only one arm into the sky.
It seemed Bacchus was with us, escorting us from his temple and whisking us away on his chariot of hedonism and high spirits to winery Chateau Ksara, where we revelled in an evening of delicious food, bountiful wine and generous hospitality!
